Downtown Denver’s Secret Escape
Since 2006, The Clocktower Cabaret has been the heart of downtown nightlife. Hidden beneath the historic D&F Tower on 16th Street, our independent venue has hosted world-class burlesque, comedy, live music, and theatre for nearly two decades.
We’ve been the backdrop for birthdays, proposals, anniversaries, friend nights, date nights, weddings, office parties, divorce parties… you name it. Every night is a one-of-a-kind experience, and after 20 years, the celebration is still going strong.

Cabarets began in Paris as intimate gatherings in cafés, where artists, poets, and musicians performed in close quarters with their audience.
It was conversational, raw, and delightfully unpredictable.

Welcome to Stand Up and Sing Cabaret—a joyful night of live music, creativity, and community. Inspired by the events at Evergreen High School and other communities impacted by gun violence, proceeds from tonight’s event benefit Colorado Ceasefire.
Tonight’s theme, Good Songs from Bad Musicals, was chosen by the cast—celebrating standout numbers from shows that missed the mark, flopped on Broadway, or just weren’t their favorites.
